The Hawkes Family Tree

The Manorial Court 4th October 1664 Little Addington Northamptonshire

The original of these documents can be viewed at Warwickshire Record Office Ref CR 162/15 The above Manorial documents are for the Court Baron heard on the Fourth day of October 1664 and Timothy Hawkes is listed as paying his "peppercorn rent " and as part of the jury, and at the end of the document he is signing with his mark indicating he was unable to read or write so would have no idea how his surname should be spelled so that perhaps accounts for why we can find no trace of him before 1628.
